New year, New beginnings and New goals. This year my goal is to compete in at least one half marathon per month. So far goal looks promising and I have completed 2 half marathons

Benbrook Lake Half Marathon: Did this race in month of January. From a race perspective this is a small race with 500 – 1000 participants, but well organized race run around the Benbrook reservoir. I have completed this race in 1Hr 42 mins. It is a challenging course with lot of rolling hills

New Orleans Rock N Roll: Did this race as part of February race and it attracts 10000 – 15000 (including Half and Full marathoners). Rock N Roll series is a popular racing series conducted all across US and well organized race with multiple aid stations and live music all across the course with random people cheering for you through out. I have completed this race in 1Hr 42Mins. Its a flat course and much recommended course for beginners

I have races planned till June so far and next one will be Viking Dash Trail run (Half Marathon). I have never done a trail half marathon and will be an interesting race. Then comes my bucket list race for month of April. I am going to do a full marathon on Great Wall of Chine. Will blog about my experience of china in my future blog. I am going to do MS150 (85miles + 65 miles in two days) bike ride supporting multiple sclerosis and then Wounded Warrior Half in month of June. Will plan future races after my china trip. Looking at doing a race in Canada and also the Philadelphia Half marathon
